Science has proven for many decades that the horse's movement has a positive effect on the development of movement abilities and skills, improvement of posture, balance and coordination, regulation of muscle tone, stabilization of the pelvis and improvement of joint mobility.
In recent years, interventions with the help of horses have been increasingly established as an innovative professional method in the counseling, therapeutic, pedagogical process and in the implementation of psychosocial and psychotherapeutic support for better mental health.
The horse is an extremely strong motivator and confidant, so in its presence we can learn to solve various life challenges, hardships and problems. Interventions with the help of a horse encourage us to develop, think, feel and give us motivation to successfully overcome obstacles.
Interventions with the help of a horse represent an extremely effective and holistic development support intended for children, adolescents and adults.
OBJECTIVES OF THE SYMPOSIUM:
-further professional training and meeting of all actively working Slovenians
of experts in the field of horse-assisted interventions (IPK)
- an overview of developments in the field of IPK in the last year
- exposure of pressing current issues in the field of IPK
- exchange of experience and good practice in the implementation of IPK in various Slovenian countries

-presentation of Slovenian public institutes and other organizations that already implement programs

- socializing and establishing good mutual cooperation of Slovenians
of experts with the common goal of ensuring the quality development of the IPK field in Slovenia
